Insurance for dentistry
Dental insurance plans can help you to afford dental treatment if the need arises in an emergency or due to an accident. There are a wide range of dental insurance policies that can be taken out to ensure that your dental costs are kept to a minimum. The cost of dental insurance will depend on the health of your teeth and gums and the level of insurance cover that you require.
Some plans will have a cap on the amount of dental are that you can claim under the plan i.e there may be a cap of £2000 and so any treatment that exceeds the limit will need to be paid for by yourself. If you have had expensive dental treatment such as dental implants certain insurance policies exist for dental implant insurance.
How much does dental insurance cost?
The cost of dental insurance will depend on the level of cover that you require and is often assessed following an oral examination by an approved dentist. Generally speaking the healthier that your mouth is the cheaper your insurance premium will be.
